In France, Victor Osimhen scored his 13th league goal of the season for Lille in their 2-1 home defeat against Olympic Marseille at the Stade Pierre Mauroy on Sunday night.
The 21-year-old also has four assists in 24 league appearances for Lille.

In the Championship, Semi Ajayi was in action for West Bromwich Albion in their 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The game was Ajayi’s 31 appearance in the Championship for West Brom this season.

Nigerian duo Eberechi Eze and Bright Osayi-Samuel were on target for Queens Park Rangers in 4-2 comeback win against visiting Stoke City on Saturday.
Eze now has 11 goals in 33 league games while Osayi-Samuel has scored five goals in 25 games.

Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun made his first start for Wigan Athletic in their 2-2 away draw against Cardiff City on Saturday.
It was Balogun’s second game for Wigan since joining them on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion on deadline day transfer.

In Italy, Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong featured for Udinese as they  were held to a 0-0 draw at home by Hellas Verona, in the Serie A on Sunday.
The game was Troost-Ekong’s 21st Serie A appearance for Udinese this season.

In Spain, Ogenekaro Etebo was in Getafe’s starting eleven for his third LaLiga game since his loan move from Stoke City as they lost 2-1 to Barcelona at Camp Nou.
However, he was later replaced in the 67th minute for Amath Ndiaye.
Reacting to the defeat, Etebo wrote on his verified Twitter handle: “Disappointing results but we go again lads.”

Winger Samuel Chukwueze was in action as Villarreal clinched a 2-1 victory against Levante in Saturday’s La Liga game.
Chukwueze replaced Paco Alcacer in the 76th minute, and has scored 3 goals with 3 assists in 27 appearances across all competitions this season.

Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala continued her impressive goal scoring form as she grabbed a brace in Barcelona Ladies’ 7-0 thrashing of Sporting de Huelva in the Spanish women’s league.

In Germany, Nigeria defender Jamilu Collins scored an own goal as SC Paderbon lost 2-1 at home to Hertha Berlin.
The 25-year old got booked for a foul in the 73rd minute, but still completed the entire game, making 2 clearances, 3 tackles and 3 interceptions.

In Turkey, Former Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi was in action for Trabzonspor who beat title rivals Sivasspor 2-1 in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.

Anthony Nwakaeme also started the game but was replaced in the 35th minute with a suspected injury.
With the win, Trabzonspor are now top of the log with 44 points and are a point ahead of second placed Istanbul Basaksehir, with a game in hand.

In Holland, Nigerian forward Chidera Ejuke was on target for Heerenveen who lost 4-2 away to Vitesse in Sunday’s Dutch Eredivisie game.
It was Ejuke’s 8th league goal in 22 appearances for Heerenveen this season.

In Egypt, Nigeria forward Junior Ajayi scored for the second consecutive game as Al Ahly defeated Al Masry 3-0 at the Border Guard Stadium.

Ajayi netted Al Ahly’s second goal of the game in the 83rd minute. He has now scored four goals in 14 league appearances for Al Ahly this season.

In Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Musa extended his goal drought in the Saudi Arabia Professional League to 23 games after he fired blanks in Friday’s 4-2 away win against Al Shabab.

Midfielder, John Ogu featured for 90 minutes in Al Adalah’s 0-0 home draw against Al Taawon. Ogu, who received a yellow card a minute before the half -time break has played four league games for Al Adalah since his arrival in January.
