Casillas pulls out of Spanish Football Federation presidential elections
Real Madrid Legend, Iker Casillas has pulled out of the upcoming Spanish Football Federation presidential elections.
The former Spanish goalkeeper revealed earlier this year that he would be willing to challenge incumbent president, Luis Rubiales in the elections.
However, Casillas has decided not to run for president on this occasion.
Towards the start of the coronavirus pandemic, Casillas said that it wasn’t the time to be talking about elections.
He doesn’t think he has the time to build
enough supportive team in order to win the election.
